Our moving tips are provided to give you help and advice about how to save time and money with your move.

  • Moving tip 1
    Start packing well in advance and always have things packed ready for loading prior to our arrival.
  • Moving tip 2
    Always use good strong boxes and secure them with strong adhesive tape. This will prevent them from splitting open.
    Boxes can either be purchased or found free of charge at your local supermarket.
  • Moving tip 3
    Always label your boxes clearly. This will save you time when unpacking at your new home.
  • Moving tip 4
    Refrain from overloading boxes and bags, make sure they are not too heavy to lift.
  • Moving tip 5
    Make sure that fragile items are marked and wrapped well. A good idea is to write "do not stack on this box".
  • Moving tip 6
    Always try and dismantle any large items of furniture like bed frames, tables and desks. This will save you time, space and money.
  • Moving tip 7
    Always make sure that the driver can gain entry to your new address upon arrival, maybe pass on a spare key to the driver. This way your belongings can still be unloaded in the event that you are held up. This will save us having to charge you for waiting time.
